art -- and reality

By Diogenes ( articles ) | Mar 15, 2005

Perhaps in response to Hillary's call for more feelings-friendly abortion language, NARAL Pro-Choice America has sponsored a sex-ed haiku contest. The specimens below are the winners -- not, as you may be tempted to believe, parodies thereof.

Consenting adults
are making their own choices
freedom is sexy
-- James

Monocratic fools
keep your laws off my body
I know how to choose
-- Jacquie

I am a Woman!
Feminine and soft, yet strong.
My Body, My Choice.
-- Laura

Empower women
to make well informed choices
trust them to do so
-- Jacquie

Ars longa, the proverb has it, vita brevis.
