- Peter Vere finds a role model for a certain kind of Catholic politician in Pontius Pilate.
- Fr. Bryce Sibley points to an article that extols virtuous hate, a healthy hatred of evil.
- Jeff Miller discusses Archbishop-elect Raymond Burke's now well-known letter to dissenting Catholic politicians and the idea that pluralism supersedes a politician's duty to his professed faith or a bishop's duty to call him on it.
- Fr. Rob Johansen writes that the "right to die" movement has been transformed into the "duty to die" movement.
- Readers at Amy Welborn's blog are having an intense discussion about the Dutch parish Diogenes mentioned here last week which has no priest, but a "pastoress". There are several other blog entries that continue the theme and give Amy's thoughts.
- Father Tom Dowd alerts us to a movement in Quebec that has declared the Eucharist a "failure" and wants to replace the Mass with an "agape meal." And they have some big name supporters including the Cardinal-archbishop of Montreal.
