SON
Theologically, sonship is the derivation of one person from the substance of another person who communicates the same nature to the one he produces. There is consequently a Son within the Trinity, begotten by the Father. In an analogous sense, all angels and men are sons of God because they share in the divine attributes of knowledge and freedom, and all who are in the state of grace are adopted sons (or children) of God.
