INFUSED HABIT

Virtue supernaturally conferred by God without one's own effort. Good dispositions of the mind or will that are the result of divine grace rather than the effect of human effort. Some infused habits, and charity, cannot be naturally acquired. Others, namely the moral virtues of prudence and justice, fortitude and temperance, can also be acquired, but when infused they elevate and perfect the naturally acquired habits.
