CHILDREN'S MASS
Special Eucharistic liturgy for children of preadolescent age. In 1973 the Congregation for Divine Worship issued special guidelines for children's Masses. It provides for adaptation to their mental and spiritual level, while keeping intact the principal parts of the Mass. A Directory for Masses with Children was approved by Pope Paul VI on October 22, 1973.
