Bangladesh: Christian convert threatened with death

A young human-rights activist who embraced the Catholic faith has been threatened with death in Bangladesh. William Gomes was driven from his home by Islamic militants who sought to kill him, along with his wife and child, as punishment for his apostasy. Police have not offered protection for the Christian family.
