Man recounts ‘monster’ priest who committed abuse in New Jersey, Missouri

An alleged victim of Father Gerald Howard, a priest of the Archdiocese of Newark formerly known as Father Carmine Sita, has discussed how the priest groomed him and became a father figure to teens in his parish. The priest, who pled guilty 25 years ago to abusing a teenage boy and distributing marijuana, committed additional abuse in Missouri after his release from a Servants of the Paraclete treatment center.
