Pope expected to outdraw Obama 8-to-1 in Czech Republic

July 27, 2009

During his September 26-28 apostolic journey to the Czech Republic, Pope Benedict is expected to attract a crowd eight times larger than the one that President Barack Obama addressed in April. The Pontiff, whose visit will witness even stricter security measures than did President Obama’s trip, is scheduled to celebrate an outdoor Mass for an estimated 120,000 people.
