Tourism can promote healthy diversity, Vatican notes

The Vatican has released a statement for World Tourism Day, emphasizing the value of diversity and urging people to see tourism as a means not only to "accept the existence of other cultures but also desire to be enriched by them." The statement was signed by Archbishops Antonio Maria Veglio and Agostino Marchetto-- the president and secretary, respectively, of the Pontifical Council for Migrants.
