Preservation group fears diocese will demolish historic churches

The Johnstown Area Heritage Association is expressing concern that the central Pennsylvania Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown, led by Bishop Joseph Adamec, will demolish the historic ethnic churches slated for closure in the historic Cambria City section of Johnstown. The diocese demolished one historic church in the neighborhood in 2003.
