Obama adviser challenges 'heteronormative' view of fatherhood

A homosexual activist who serves on President Obama's advisory council for faith-based initiatives has called for an end to the "heteronormative view of fatherhood." Harry Knox argued that American leaders should encourage a positive attitude toward homosexuals who raise children.
Last week a group of Catholic activists wrote to President Obama demanding the removal of Knox from his presidential assignment, pointing out that Knox has frequently given voice to a strong anti-Catholic bias.
