Pope celebrates Holy Thursday evening Mass at center for disabled

As previously announced, Pope Francis is celebrating the Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper at St. Mary of Providence Center, a rehabilitation center for the disabled operated by the Don Carlo Gnocchi Foundation.

The Mass will be celebrated in the Center’s church.

During the course of the Mass, Pope Francis will wash the feet of “12 disabled of diverse age, ethnicity, and religious confession, in representation of all the patients assisted in the 29 Centers operative in Italy.”
