Confirmed: American Jesuit ordered by Rome to curtail teaching

Vatican officials have confirmed that Father Roger Haight, a former president of the Catholic Theological Society of America, has been ordered not to teach in his fields of Christology and systematic theology. The new action against the Jesuit scholar-- whose works first drew criticism by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in 2005-- is not a "final resolution" of his case, a Jesuit spokesman said.
