Bishop Hubbard, other Christian leaders urge Obama to make Mideast peace “immediate priority”

Bishop Howard Hubbard of Albany, who recently replaced Bishop Thomas Wenski as Chairman of the Committee on International Justice and Peace of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, has signed the ecumenical Christian Call for Holy Land Peace. The letter, released Monday, urges President-elect Barack Obama “to make achievement of Israeli-Palestinian peace an immediate priority during your first year in office.”
