Kerala: Priest, nun accused of murder protest interrogation techniques

Father Thomas Kottoor, a Syro-Malabar priest who has ministered in the United States, told a court yesterday that he and another priest accused of the 1992 murder of a nun were deprived of sleep for three days by Central Bureau of Investigation investigators. A nun accused of involvement in the murder also told the court that she was “forcibly subjected to a virginity medical examination,” according to Indian Catholic News Service.
