Vatican opens bookstore outside St. Peter’s Square

Libreria Editrice Vaticana, L’Osservatore Romano’s photographic service, and the Vatican’s Numistatic Office have opened the Pope Benedict XVI International Bookstore outside St. Peter’s Square. ‘This bookstore hopes to present to the modern world the truth present for all eternity in the word of God,’ said Secretary of State Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone at yesterday’s opening ceremony.
