VICTIMAE PASCHALI

The hymn to the Paschal Victim, which is the Easter sequence for the Mass on Easter Sunday and through the octave. Composed by Wipo (d. 1050) of Burgundy (or Swabia), it commemorates Christ's triumphant conquest of death.
