ORDINIS BAPTISMI ADULTORUM

Decree of the Sacred Congregation for Divine Worship, giving the norms and ritual for the reception of adult Christians into the Catholic Church. It has two main parts: first is a detailed explanation of the catechumenate, its meaning and practice; the second deals expressly with receiving validly baptized persons "into full communion with the Catholic Church" (January 6, 1972).
