ORDINEM BAPTISMI

decree of the Sacred Congregation for Divine Worship, issued in 1969, authorizing the new ritual for the baptism of infants. Among other changes there is a special rite for conferral of baptism of infants. Among other changes there is a special rite for conferral of baptism by a lay person and also a ceremony for presenting an already baptized child to the Church (May 15, 1969).
