OBJECTIVE END
The good or object that is sought, independent of the personal desires or subjective feelings of the one who seeks the end. In Christian morality the objective end that the faithful should seek is always the glory of God, i.e., to please him, irrespective of personal preference and not conditioned by one's own satisfaction.
