HOUR

One of the five canonical hours of the Divine Office, so called because traditionally they are to be sung or recited at certain hours in the day. The hours are: the Office of Readings, Morning Prayer (Lauds), Prayer During the Day (Terce, Sext, or None), Evening Prayer (Vespers), and Night Prayer (Compline).
