the confession of a non-compliant bishop

By Diogenes (articles ) | September 13, 2005 10:42 AM

Bless me, Ms. Kettelkamp, for I am non-compliant. It has been one year since my last audit. I accuse myself of the following failures in my polices, procedures, and protocols:

An appeal from our founder, Dr. Jeffrey Mirus:

Thank God for non-compliant bishops! I'm with Bp. Bruskewitz of Lincoln: he's one of the few bishops with the holy boldness to speak up and tell his brother bishops at the USCCB that they had rushed recklessly to this terrible situation of TAT, Virtus forms, ridiculous video instructions. Who do we thank for the mess? the Abp. Gregorys, Bp. Lynches &Trautmans, Cdl. Mahonys & McCarricks et.al. who've led the USCCB to its present uselessness. Nuke the USCCB. It's time for the millennial bishops.

That was a good confession. Now, for your penance, you are to refuse to pay the usual archdiocesan/eparchial assessment to the USCCB and, instead, send the money to Darfur for refugee relief.
