Should UK Catholics be warned against Green Party?

Australia's Catholic bishops have issued a blunt warning to their people about the political policies favored by the Green Party, notes William Oddie, writing in London's Catholic Herald. The bishops of England and Wales have not given the same sort of guidance, he observes. Yet in Britain, too, the Green Party favors not only environmental protection, but also legal abortion and same-sex marriage.

"So, is it possible to be a Green and also against abortion and gay marriage?" Oddie asks. "Is it possible to be a Green and also a Catholic?"
