Another Iraqi Christian killed in Mosul

July 06, 2010

A Syrian Orthodox man was killed on July 5, in the latest of a series of targeted acts of violence against Christians in Mosul, Iraq.

Behnam Sabti died when an explosive device planted in his car detonated.

Although Mosul is patrolled by US troops along with 18 Iraqi military battalions, the city’s Christian minority remains in danger because of a campaign of intimidation.
