CWN Editor's Note: A Swiss bishop has resigned his office, saying that “inner fatigue” has made it impossible for him to continue.
Bishop Valerio Lazzeri, who is only 59 years old, had led the Lugano diocese since 2013. He said: “The public aspects, the representation, the financial and administrative management, have become unbearable for me...”
