CWN Editor's Note: A parish church, rectory, and convent in the Mandalay archdiocese were looted by troops of the Myanmar military leadership last week. The priest and nuns escaped before troops broke down doors and ransacked the buildings.
The junta’s troops continue an aggressive campaign in the heavily Christian villages where—according to the junta—resistance is centered.
