Assaulted seminarians ought to be referred to in "safe environment" training as "vulnerable individuals". However, the training does not include them in this category. This is an oversight that I point out every time I offer the training. Is it intentional? A Church rotting from the inside. No wonder hundreds of parishes per year are being closed down in the U.S. They are taking Catholic hospitals, etc. with them. Those responsible will have a lot to answer for when the time of judgment arrives.
