Kentucky bishop rebukes President Trump as ‘anti-life’

August 07, 2020

CWN Editor's Note: “For this president to call himself pro-life, and for anybody to back him because of claims of being pro-life, is almost willful ignorance,” said Bishop John Stowe of Lexington. “He is so much anti-life because he is only concerned about himself, and he gives us every, every, every indication of that.”

Bishop Stowe, like Archbishop Gregory, needs a mirror into which he peers carefully repeating the words Willful Ignorance, Willful Ignorance, not almost but Willful Ignorance.

Please, let us not be ditto heads duped by the likes of DJT. He is not a Friend of Jesus, the Church, or us.

Thanks, Randal -- you took the words right out of my mouth. I'm sick of the media -- and their lackeys in the clergy -- touting the claims of pols like Biden and Pelosi that they are "devout" Catholics. This is a scandal of the first order. The Church's failure to call them on it is an even bigger scandal.

Wow! I thought for a moment that I was reading the words of Joe Biden. Bishop Stowe must be the most out of touch bishop this week. The "every, every, every" sounds like overkill. We get the point. His hatred for Trump, me, and Trump's other supporters is dripping off his fingertips.
