A foolish political stand. There are many better ways of responding to increasing CO2 levels than destroying energy companies. Among these are Trump's new trillion trees initiative, more comprehensive implementation of carbon capture technologies, assisting the recovery of tropical rainforests, reverting to the kinds of food containers in use when I was a child, truth in education, and many others. Of course, the "divestment" agenda of certain Western institutions may go beyond energy companies.
