Miami priest battles ex-stripper for custody of child

A Miami Catholic priest who has acknowledged that he is the father of a child is now locked in court battle with the mother, a former striptease artist, for custody of the child. The legal contest-- following closely on the highly publicized case of another priest who left the Catholic Church after he was caught in compromising photos with a young woman-- drew this caustic comment from a local television newscaster: "The Archdiocese of Miami is becoming a recurring episode of the Jerry Springer Show."
