Christians now only 2% of Syrian population

CWN Editor's Note: Christians now account for only 2% of Syria’s population, reports the apostolic nuncio, Cardinal Mario Zenari. In the aftermath of World War II, Syria was about 25% Christian. That figure had fallen to 6% prior to the current conflict, which has driven tens of thousands of families out of the country.
