6 Christians killed in Pakistan; ‘convert to Islam or die’
September 07, 2009
After local Christians received telephone and mail warnings for months urging them to “convert to Islam or die,” six Christians were killed and seven were injured as gunmen opened fire at a laboratory next to a hospital. The killings took place in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan Province, which adjoins Afghanistan. A September 5 Vatican Radio report drew greater international attention to the slayings, which took place on August 28.
