Personal morality essential to stable economy, Cardinal George tells K of C

Speaking to the annual convention fo the Knights of Columbus in Phoenix, Arizona, Cardinal Francis George of Chicago said that the lack of a clear sense of personal morality contributed to the global economic crisis. "An economy that substitutes efficiency for morality will end up both inefficient and immoral," the cardinal told the Knights.
