Pope is right about AIDS and condoms, Harvard professor testifies

"There’s no evidence at all that condoms have worked as a public health intervention intended to reduce HIV infections," Harvard professor Edward Green tells the Italian journal Tempi. Green argues that the Pope's call for a change in behavior-- a move to confine sexual activity to married life-- is demonstrably the most effective response to the epidemic. He concedes that his message-- and the Pope's-- is falling on deaf ears in the Western world.
