CWN Editor's Note: Pope Francis met on January 25 with Faustin Archange Touadéra, the president of the Central African Republic. The African leader also spoke with the Pope—and with the Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, and Secretary for Relations with States, Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher—about efforts to restore peace and stability in the country.
