Canadian gay-rights campaigner files charges against bishop, parish after dismissal as altar boy

A prominent gay-rights advocate has lodged a legal complaint with the Ontario Human Rights Commission after he was removed from his post as an altar server. Jim Corcoran, the owner of a gay-oriented spa, says that he wants an apology from Bishop Nicola de Angelis of Peterborough for removing him after several members of his parish raised questions about his homosexual orientation.
