Retired Patriarch of Jerusalem given ‘Arafat Prize’ for help to Palestinian cause

CWN Editor's Note: Archbishop Michel Sabbah, the former Latin-rite Catholic Patriarch of Jerusalem, has been named for the Arafat Prize for his contributions to the Palestinian cause. Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah presented the award to the Catholic prelate, who was honored along with Muhammad Ahmad Hussein, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem.
