Filipino Cardinal Vidal in stable condition after cardiac arrest

CWN Editor's Note: Cardinal Ricardo Vidal, the retired Archbishop of Cebu, collapsed last week from complications of pneumonia, suffered cardiac arrest, and lapsed into a coma. Doctors reported that his condition had improved by October 16, and the 86-year-old prelate was responsive, although his condition remained serious.
