Vatican to host another population-control panel
August 04, 2017
The Pontifical Academy of Sciences has announced plans for another conference on climate change, at which several noted proponents of population control will speak.
The conference on “Health of People, Health of Planet and Our Responsibility: Climate Change, Air Pollution and Health,” will be held in November at the Vatican. Bishop Marcelo Sanchez Sorondo, the outspoken head of the Pontifical Academy, will chair the event.
The list of invited speakers includes several figures who are known for public support of abortion and aggressive family-planing campaigns.

I do not overstate it to say this is a Church leadership with no understanding of the Catholic religion, of how moral corruption and self-deception exists in the human heart. There would be no need for God's plan of salvation (His Church) if we did not need to be saved from our sins and the dark fruits of our sins, our systematic and ideological self-delusions. Francis calls doctrinaire Catholics ideologues. He has it backwards. Those who embrace secular salvation are ideologues.

The fact that these controversial speakers are invited by the Vatican and prominent pro-life speakers are not invited sends a loud message that is contrary to the Church's teaching and doctrine.

Pro-abortion speakers at any Vatican conference is a disgrace. If the Pope knows about it, and I am sure he is aware, then he should be ashamed. He disgracing the position he holds and leading his flock astray. Christ will demand an answer. So should we.

The persistence of a decidedly bad idea!

It would be nice if the word "Sciences" actually meant something but we will get nothing but Michael Moore/Al Gore claptrap. The only difference, I think, is that conferees pockets won't be quite as lined as the aforementioned.

When will they wake up and defend "TRUTH"? Why are these people in this group when there are so many good "pro-life representatives out there?

I guess as long as they are not giving them any awards or honors it's probably not a big deal, since it's a conference.
