Name change coming for John Paul II Institute?
June 29, 2017
According to a report by Vatican journalist Sandro Magister, the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family—which has already been reconstituted under Pope Francis—will soon also have a new name.
The institute, Magister reports, will be known as the Institute of Studies on the Family, and will continue under the auspices of the Lateran University rather than the Pontifical Council for the Family.
Magister notes that several newly appointed members of the Pontifical Council for the Family have taken public positions in favor of legal abortion, embryonic stem-cell research, and artificial techniques for human reproduction.

If I were St. JPII, I would want my name removed from the institute which no longer reflects the founders' intent.

They can call it The Pagan Institute of Individual Choice.

That's good. Remove JPII's name off of this newly formed fraud. Perhaps some faithful, orthodox Bishops could now start a new institute using JPII's name and true teachings outside of the Pope and Vatican buracracy's control.

Oh, I wouldn't do that if I were you, Papa Francisco.
