Vatican official sees crisis in Confession

Archbishop Mauro Piacenza, the secretary of the Congregation for Clergy, conceded that the Church is observing a "deep crisis" in the use of sacramental Confession, during a Vatican Radio interview. The archbishop saw an urgent need to bring the faithful back to regular use of the sacrament.
