A Catholic schoolteacher was shot and killed in Ilaga, in the Papua province of Indonesia, on September 12.

The bullet-riddled body of Yuni Yesra Patatang was found on Tuesday morning. No responsibility for the killing has been established. The Papua province has been troubled by separatist violence.
