Vatican newspaper highlights 2 US books on persecution

L’Osservatore Romano has published positive reviews of two books by Americans.

Philip Jenkins’s The Lost History of Christianity: The Thousand-Year Golden Age of the Church in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia--and How It Died (2008) is now available in an Italian edition, while Daniel Williams’s Forsaken: The Persecution of Christians in Today's Middle East is a more recent book.
