Papal schedule for September- November

The Vatican has released the schedule of papal ceremonies for the months of September through November 2008. Among the highlights:
- September 7: pastoral visit to Sardinia
- September 12- 15: visit to Lourdes, France for the 150th anniversary of the apparitions there
- October 5: opening of the 12th ordinary assembly of the Synod of Bishops
- October 26: closing of the Synod
