Indian priest killed; circumstances unclear

Police in India are investigating the unexplained death of a Catholic priest who was found hanged, the Fides news service reports.

The body of Father Raja Kannu, a priest of the Mysore diocese, was found in his residence in Palaya, where he had been serving as a pastor for less than a year. "The circumstances leading to his death are still unknown," Fides reports.
