Australian archbishop, recovering from severe disease, reflects on suffering

In a Holy Week reflection, Archbishop Anthony Fisher of Sydney, Australia, reflects on his own struggle with a serious illness: Guillain-Barré Syndrome, which left him almost completely paralyzed.
As he slowly recovers, the archbishop uses his experience as background for thoughts on the Christian understanding of weakness and suffering.
