Missionaries of Charity pledge to continue work in Yemen
March 07, 2016
The Missionaries of Charity have vowed to continue their work in Yemen, despite the killing of four sisters serving at a retirement home in Aden.
The order announced, in a message relayed to the Fides news service, that "we will continue our service to the poor and the needy." The order observed that its founder, Mother Teresa, had always made it her practice to go, "whatever the local situation, to serve in the most remote parts of the world."
