Irish Catholic schools required to treat homosexuals equally in hiring teachers

December 04, 2015

Ireland’s parliament, the Oireachtas has passed legislation that will require Catholic schools to give equal opportunity in hiring to homosexual teachers.

The new legislation also applies to Catholic hospitals and other institutions that receive public funding.
