Pro-abortion marchers attack Argentine cathedral

October 15, 2015

Shouting “the Church is a piece of trash, you’re a dictatorship,” a mob of pro-abortion activists attacked the cathedral in Mar del Plata, Argentina, on October 11, according to a report from the Catholic News Agency.

Police used tear gas and rubber bullets to repel the attackers, who were throwing bottles and stones.

I read on local news sites in Spanish that the men at the cathedral were members of an ultra-rightist, super-macho political club, which sympathizes with the dirty war dictatorship of the 1970-80's; said to be neo-Nazi, anti-Jewish and ultra-nationalist. The anti-life radicals were a small part of the larger march (65,000) of the 30th Nat. Women's Encounter. The rads left the main march to confront the men at the church, who may have been there not as defenders but as provocateurs. Who knows!

You are too nice...Many of the screamers were half-clad females who sandwiched feces between bottles and stones ! You did not speak of the brave young men maintaining a prayer chain on the top steps of the Cathedral, literally taking crap, while blocking protesters entrance. You did not mention the unbelievable response by the Cathedral Rector which was-to be charitable- blasé. Pay attention, America: this scenario is coming to a church near you !
