Orthodox bishops discuss pan-Orthodox council

140 bishops of the Patriarchate of Constantinople traveled from Greece, the United States, and other nations to Istanbul to mark the beginning of the Orthodox liturgical year and discuss the pan-Orthodox council, which will take place in 2016.
The prelates also discussed bioethics, interreligious dialogue, and the environment, according to Turkish media reports.
